Welcome to the world of Elgin High School basketball!

Since 1900, when the Maroons played their first game, basketball has held a special place in the hearts and minds of the people of Elgin. Once famous as the watch capital of the world, Elgin will always be known by Illinois sports fans as a basketball town — and the home of the first high school to win back-to-back state championships.

HEY, ELGIN FANS! On March 2, 2000, Elgin celebrates its basketball centennial. To commemorate the event, the Daily Herald printed a special pull-out section on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000. Check it out online!

NEW! Each yearly page now includes a game-by-game scoring summary. And I'm trying to update other things and add some new features as I get time. How 'bout those Maroons?
